Registration for 1st-12th Grade

Kindergarten Enrollment

 

If your child is attending HCS for the first time, you will need to go to the Hartselle City Schools Board of Education located at: 305 College St NW, Hartselle, AL 35640.

You MUST bring the following documents for registration:

  • Child's Birth Certificate
  • Official Alabama Immunization Record
  • Utility Bill for proof of residency (only document for proof of residence that we accept)
  • Parent/Guardians Driver's License
  • Final Divorce Decree/Custody Documents (if it applies and the children do not live with Both Parents)
  • 504 or IEP (if it applies and your student has one, IT MUST BE FURNISHED AT THE TIME OF ENROLLMENT.

Out of District Registration:

  • If you are planning on registering your child as an Out of District student with Hartselle City Schools, the open dates for enrollment are as follows and the deadline is firm:
    • March 2, 2026 through May 28, 2026, for the 25-26 school year
    • November 2, 2026 through November 20, 2026, for the 2nd semester

After approval, you will receive information on how to complete our online student enrollment forms.

Enrollment is not finalized for your student until these forms are completed and submitted.
